The Embroidered Archive

The Embroidered Archive is a visual project developed alongside my dissertation; female identity through Bulgarian traditional dress. Informed by my writen research and translated into self-directed visual outcomes, the work reinterprets cultural garments as layered expressions of history, gender, and heritage.
